Silver Ring Making
Looking for unique things to do in Melbourne? Learn how to make your own silver jewellery! In this workshop, you will learn how to create beautiful silver rings.
Led by an experienced and trade-certified manufacturing jeweller, Brooke will be your guide throughout the session, sharing safety tips, tricks, and her wealth of knowledge to help you succeed.
Located in the Nicholas Building in Melbourne's CBD, this workshop offers a small class setting that helps you receive individual attention and learn real skills that you can continue to use on your jewellery making journey.
During the class, we will cover all the necessary safety aspects of working with the equipment and materials. You will have the opportunity to work at one of our two fully set up jewellers benches, giving you a taste of what it's like to work as a jeweller.
By the end of the session, you will have made one round or half round stacking band and one wide flat sterling ring. Under Brooke's supervision all soldering and finishing will be done to a high standard. This means you can proudly wear your completed pieces home!
